Jeremiah, epistle of
A book in the Apocrypha. It is printed in AV, RV, and REB, following the Vulgate, as ch. 6 of Baruch. Under the guise of a letter from Jeremiah to the Babylonian exiles, it is a warning to Jews by a pseudonymous author in the Hellenistic era against apostasy.
